Inspired by these women who strive to create ancient recipes filled with love and magic, enchanting and surprising visitors, our Matriarca Restaurant is a fusion of culture and passion, a blend of flavors and aromas where Chiloé is the protagonist, and where different products such as fish, seafood, seaweed, potatoes, and fruits from our forest come together to conjure up the perfect dish.

We select ingredients in a picturesque, old-fashioned market where matriarchs from all over the islands gather to barter and sell their produce. Our own garden does its part to achieve the perfect blend of quality and freshness.
